American Arbitration Association: Arbitrated contract disputes as a memeber of the AAA Commercial Panel of arbitrators. Dogpatch Neighborhood Association:, San Francisco, CA A leader of a neighborhood-based effort that successfully established the first new San Francisco City historic district in more than twenty years. Convinced the Dogpatch Neighborhod Association to hire an architectural historian to survey cultural resources (buildings) then worked with and managed that historian's efforts to produce documentation required for the historic designation. Instrumental in forming a 501(c)(3) corporation to raise funds used to pay for the historical survey and participated in fundraising efforts. Assisted with San Francisco City and Trust for Public Land negotiations. Wrote and published newspaper articles detailing the progress of the historic district certification efforts.
